Pat White

Pat White has been spinning stories in her head ever since she was a little girl, stories of romance, adventure and intrigue. After earning a degree in Journalism, Pat spent the first ten years of her career as a newspaper reporter and public relations manager, and the next ten writing fiction.

She sold her first book, Practice Makes Mr. Perfect, to Silhouette Romance in 2002. This was followed by the sale of Got a Hold on You (Dorchester), the first in her romantic comedy series set in professional wresting. The second book in the series, Ring Around My Heart, received the Reviewer's Choice Award for Best Contemporary Romance from Romantic Times Magazine.

While writing the comedies, Pat was also working on her darker books, wanting to thrill and surprise her readers as she led them down the haunting path of danger. Her debut Harlequin Intrigue, Silent Memories, will hit the shelves in September 2006, followed by a three book Intrigue series in January, February and March 2007 featuring The Blackwell Group, a team of investigators led by a former British Inspector.
