Leslie has been a reader ever since she was sent outside to play by her mother and smuggled a Laura Ingalls Wilder book to read while perched up in the apple tree. At the age of seven she had read through the entire Children's Library in her town.
The love affair with books has taken on many facets since then...
Leslie attended Hollins University with a degree in English, but her true love was creative
writing. The first freshman allowed into the classes, Leslie began her first novel to the applause of some classmates.
Even her own life is a love story that started with writing she posted a Singles ad and was found by her true love! He is tall, dark, handsome and a real hero! Leslie is as in love now as she was the day she got his first e-mail. Her true love is also a writer who shares her love of books. Their lives are made more interesting by two kitties, Ambrosia and Spud, who vie for room on the bookshelves in the house.
